>>The mention of the Celeron may just be updating of the marketing materials. I think the other items you talk about are just publication oversite, but you never know.<<

Sure would be nice to know if the P2B-F is a newer version and if it has newer chips on it. Kinda hard to tell when they 1)don't answer the phone or 2)don't return phone calls.

>>Double check the size of the mother board you choose, the P2B-S is slightly larger and may be a tight squeeze in a smaller case -- circuitry in the upper right corner (RAM) could hit a drive bay. (In my case the lowest internal drive bay bracket can be taken out if it should be in the way of the MB.) Thats why I got a larger case, more space/mounting options in the future.<<

Thanks for pointing that out.

I see the dimensions of the P2B-L are 10.55" x 12". When the board is installed in the Addtronics case, is the 12" dimension the height (top to bottom of case)?

Re the internal drive bay bracket: In the Y2B-L what is the dimension (from the front of case towards the back of the case) of that bracket?

I'm asking because I'm trying to figure out if the RAM on the P2B board will clear the drive bay bracket in the 3890A case. According to the Addtronics specification sheet the depth of the 6890A case and the 3890A case is the same (17.3"). If I'm looking at the P2B (7.5"x12") correctly it's front of case to back of case dimension is 7.5".

FWIW - I got a quote from PCNut of $395 for an ASUS P2B with an overclocked (450MHz) Celeron 300A and 64MB of Viking PC100 CAS2 SDRAM. Plus $16 shipping. It would be an additional $120 for 128MB of RAM.

Thanks again for all your help
