I would vot e that compaq should do a JV with time warner.....they have a great deal to offer cpq and with cpq's marketing prowess, they COULD make a merry couple. Wouldn't be a bad follow up to the t-athm-xcit deal. twx is close behind to athm in the number of homes served and throw in aol as a third party and you have the seventh largest long distance company as well. My official vote for the joint venture would be these 4 companies jointly agree to a certain amount of favorable partnerships between cpq-twx-aol-Bertelsman or sony) There is another power hungry companie that has yet to surface to the top that may begin to feel a little late to the dance which would be FOX(murdoch).
Anyone have any other thoughts on the perfect marketing media marriage?
