><>...Good evening Terrence...><>

If I may, I'd like to help you out a bit here with this profound question concerning the life of the soul.

Jesus Said:
Matt 10:28
28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

But that need not be so, we have a choice.

1 Cor 15:53-57
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
(For your understanding:This flesh must put on spirt, and it does at the moment of physical death....
And
this mortal soul,(A soul liable to die)... must put on an immortal soul, (a soul not liable to die)

54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
(Ror your understanding: And when that is done.....Then and only then will the soul live forever. ....(It is our choice.)

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Terrence all will experience at least one death....The death of the flesh.
Some will experience 2 deaths.....The death of the flesh, AND the death of the soul.

Rev 20:4-6
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The second death, death of the soul, can be avoided.

Rev 21:5-8
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Many souls will experience the second death, but many will not...And certainly none need to.!

If you would like to understand this further I would be glad to discuss it with you in greater detail. If not I will understand.

Have a good evening
Sincerely,
Shalom...><>
