The original Instant Publisher worked fine & Ithink is still around, however, sales didn't pan out as expected & the company has since pulled out of the U.S market. The second generation printer was a bust & I understand neaver did work properly. Last I read about this,~ 14 mos. ago they were squabbling with the manufacturer over who's fault it was. Everything I've ever read about this company,it's past mgmt. & their ethics has been negative.Just go over the old threads & you'll see what I mean. In today' Globe&Mail,Jan.30,P17,an article mentions that the board of directors proposed a new option price for mgmt.,reducing them down from approx. $4 to.50. A sweet deal for the insiders but it sucks for the small shareholder who purchased stock at much higher prices. This is sure to go through at their AGM feb.4 as Jack Banks ,the founder &former ceo controls 43% of the stock & supports the idea.
I recall talking to an IR firm about 1.5-2 yrs.ago whom I hadn't releasized had dropped Instant Publisher as a client. I was left with the impression they were not happy with the lack of information from the company despite repeated requests to do so.Bottom line is be careful with this one. Yeah,I think the price will run up over the next few months. With a new company name, new products(whether they're any good remains to be seen.Info is thin&their new internet security software sounds too good to be true)you'll probably see the rollout of a major hype campaign after their Agm.
