Gary, I don't think you can infer anything about channel inventory from the CRN article. About the only thing it says is IBM has doubled its server business through the channel, which I'm sure represents in some measure shifting from direct to indirect (channel). There's no information in the article to tell us the size or market share of their overall server revenue, nor how it performed revenue-wise year to year or quarter to quarter, or how much its revenues (shipments) matched up with channel sellthrough.
