Jim: CAT What would be the odds that CAT, with shares more highly valued and better access to capital, goes for AGCO. Some messages indicate there's linkages and supply relationships. Cat might want to build ag exposure while the stock is cheap and ag equipment is way out of favor. CAT'S stronger balance sheet would offset an AG weakness and there may be real world synergies in technology and distribution.

Doubt it would happen till the new guy comes on board, but seems like a possible fit worth watching.

Your thoughts?
