Some good reading from stockhouse-
""The diamond industry in Canada can quote from Rodney Dangerfield "I don't get no respect".

With the first diamond mine in the NWT gearing into full production; with Aber, today, announcing their revised schedule for production from the second mine scheduled to reach production in the second quarter of 2002; with Mountian Province reaching the TSE today, a milestone for any junior in today market place, which has deminishing ownership in the third deposit in line for production, Canada seem poised to miss its own boat.

Bigger than the Klondike and with such a rich resource that mega millions of capital investment dollars will be returned in only a few short years these recently discovered diamond deposits will go on for years producing riches that only a King could once have imagine. And who is to benefit?? Foreign firms that recognize the true potential of the resource base. As the internation majors scoop the small Canadian firms at rock bottom prices they will export the wealth of this Country into foreign hands. The Canadians will do the bull work in the mines and will watch the bulk of the cash flow to those foreigners in the know.

We seem to not realize that diamond mining is the next major mining event in Canada which will lead the extraction industry into the new millenium and hopefully will bring the whole sector out of the doldrums. And by the time Canada realizes what is really going on it will be too late.

And the gem of them all...a small Vancouver company sitting on the diamond find of the Century will fall to foreign hand in short order as the trend continues unobstructed. How long can Winspear hold out to international power houses that will swoop in at the appropriate moment and take it all like taking candy from a baby.

Get in while you can...its not going to be available for long. ""
