Forget Warp. I first got sucked into buying this dog 3 years ago, when they were raving about their Warp Accelerator. Whatever happened to that? It fizzled, just as their income has. I received an investor packet from the company which predicted a .10 EPS in 1997, .30 in 1998, and a full $1 in 1999. I called their investor relations in 1997, and believed them when they told me that they would be reporting a positive net income in about a week. I bought a bunch of shares for $7/ a share, and lost pretty much everything. I am not confident in company management, and I am still not convinced that they are a truly legitimate company. This banner advertising thing seems to me like grasping for straws. I don't know who keeps pushing the price up to the $3 area, but whoever's buying at 3 must not have his or her head screwed on right. Aren't these advertising banners available from a zillion different companies? And aren't Fortune 500 companies smart enough to create their own banners, without having to come to a little tiny site called www.warp10.com to see how other companies are doing it. What is the real advantage here? Can someone explain to me why this banner advertisement scheme would catch on?
