CORPORATE DESTINY
By Don Mears.
Good book I am reading like to share this point.
""Our accountability before God is a serious thing. Once you are dead, you are dead. There is no purgatory. You can go through the Old and New Testaments and see people who know God's specific will for their lives. When they discovered that purpose, they either fulfilled it or they blew it.
In Acts 24:25 Paul preached to Felix and Felix trembled, but we have no record that he ever moved into God's will. Samson discovered that his purpose in life was to kill Philistines. Abraham discovered that his purpose in life was to be the father of many nations. Joseph discovered that his purpose in life was to be a ruler. The apostle Paul discovered that he was to be a light to the Gentiles. It is not enough just to know what your purpose is: you must also fulfill it.
Judgment, fulfillment and personal destiny all evolve around the concept of lordship. The basis of salvation is not "being freed from hell and going to Heaven," it is found in your answer to one simple question: Is Jesus Christ your Lord and Master? If He is, then you must realize that however long you have in this lifetime-whether it be 20, 30, 50, 80, or 100 years- God has a purpose and plan for you. If you fail to discover that plan and fulfill it, then when you enter eternity, you will answer for it when you stand before Him. "DID YOU DISCOVER MY DESTINY FOR YOUR LIFE? DID YOU COME UNDER MY LORDSHIP AND DO THAT WHICH I CREATED YOU TO DO?" You will have to answer Him truthfully-no matter how painful the answer is.
Are you willing to do God's will-without even knowing what it is? It takes a lot of trust to say, "Yes, Lord, I will follow You whatever cost." You and I must believe that God knows how to fulfull and satisfy us more than we do. We have to know and believe that whatever God wants us to do with our lives, it is something that will bring total happiness and complete peace and fulfullment.""
