I believe the two forces that will be at play today will be the following. 1. Earnings which were not as much better than estimates as usual (in fact I had .46 as consensus in my records) and loss of cofounder and Chief Technology Officer. I was not aware that this individual was going to leave. Should not that information have been disseminated a little earlier? vs 2. Shorters who had been told by Barron's and other clueless individuals that "the company has no real earnings". At least they had decent revenue and earnings and are introducing new products which should increase earnings in the future. The unfortunate thing is that once a small company starts getting decent earnings the multiple tends to become lower (like Netscape). I think we should get a small decline in share price to the lower 50s.
