Michael, the President already has term limits. If you want, I can look up some names from the Republican Congressional class of '94, who were big on term limits then, not anymore now that their self professed limits approach.
Personally, I'd be happy enough to throw out the whole of Congress along with Clinton in Y2K and start over again. In fact, I'd be happy to see the sitting Supreme Court thrown out too, with Chief Justice and liar under oath Rehnquist leading the way to the door. Not going to happen, though, we'll just muddle through as always. If you want to go all the way, we can go all out and have a constitutional convention. Provisions for that are in the Constitution, though it's never been tried. My understanding is a lot of states have actually endorsed that at one time or another, though it's doubtful that past endorsements would count toward the constitutional requirement.
I'm always happy to look forward to the next election, though of course that's another thing I've been derided for here. We must not change the subject from the only relevant one here, regurgitation of Clinton hatred, was the line I think. On the Republican side, I'd be happy to see John McCain or GWB get the nomination, they both seem reasonable to me. They just have to figure out how to navigate past the red meat crowd.
