I think you have made a wise decision to get out if you do not feel comfortable with the management. However, I would like to make an unbias comment(not to defend the management) about your posting re Toronto clinic. You seemed to get frustrated because MDRE has not opened a Toronto clinic after your conversation with Rob. Please bear in mind this is an unofficial communication between the two parties. Rob might be truful at the time he told you but things might have changed because of various reason and the management has the right to change plan in the best interest of the company. There is no offical press release in regard to any clinic anywhere until it is finalized.
A person has to make the distinction between a causual conversation and official press release. The company is accountable to all offical
press releases that they are truful and not misleading. However they
are not accountable for any casual conversation behind the scene. Some
companies do not even want to discuss any thing that they have on the drawing board because things might get changed in the last miniute. The consequence is that you might get some angry shareholders like yourself who felt betrayed. It all depends on the managaement style of the company. I had met Rob in person in his Edmonton office. He told me a lot of things as to what the company wants to do.I never take it
too seriously until it is finalized in the form of press release. You had been in business yourself before and you know how things could get
changed or voided in the last minute. From what I understood from the
AGM, the company has changed its strategy from opening clinics from scratch to buying existing clinic and upgrade it for dual purpose. It makes sense to me and may be the Toronto clinic never get open for this reason.
With due respect, I think MDRE is still a good investment and will prosper in due course.
