Mutual funds probably love the idea of a market downturn in which
MSFT and Intel drop along with IBM, maybe not the same percentage
moves but drops nevertheless.
This type of market movement signals that the current IBM sellers,
will come back into the market but will cause more of a buying
pressure in MSFT (Intel etc). I am sure those mutual funds
that hold IBM as a
top technology stock will probably want to do some realignment and
pick MSFT/INTC as well as DELL/CSCO (depending on their upcoming
earnings reports).
