Personally, I think it is in the shareholders' best interest to have a CEO with a financial background. However, it hasn't done much for this stock that I own. I take that back. When he was appointed the stock was around $60. Now it is about $70... down from $99. I think the reason that stock reached $99 was simply because analysts are more willing to believe a CEO who use to be a CFO. They are totally different kinds of companies, so we shall see what happens.
