Mats, the implications of nanomachines boggle the brain. Perhaps even alter it. Who needs Prozac when you can have nano-pumps equalizing your seratonin levels?

Memory is another matter. My bet is that the current paradigm of using memory "cells" will be totally obsolete in a few decades. IBM started their research on random-particle storage in the early 70s. When they figure out how to change and sense the state of individual atoms, we could be rating CF cards in terms of mega-terabytes.
