I note with interest that many in the 1990s, when having run out of arguments to support their position, or reaching the realization that their opinion is indefensible, or being brought face-to-face with irrefutable facts that they have no way to sanely deny, that they fall back on the word that has the backbone of a bowl of warmed-over oatmeal: WHATEVER.

A word that with three simple syllables contains the moral bankruptcy and non-think of many of the "civilized" savages that dwell in the chaos of irrationality that used to be the United States of America.
