the January issue of Technical Analysis for Stocks and Commodities has a TradeAStation forumla for cup and handle chart patters. If I get a chance in the next couple of weeks I will try to port this into ProTA's Gold Language. Basically it would generate an alert signalfor both the formation itself and if the breakout was occurring. lastshadow
