Len and all:

Thanks for the words. I have appreciated the thoughts of TJ, MikeM., Triffin, Poet, Banchee, yourself and many others (yes, Snerd...you too;)). As a newbie who started in stocks(long)just as the market turned, I have experienced a lot of the volatility the market has to offer. I must say, I was totally unprepared for the severity of the downturn and failed to take appropriate precautions (how about stop losses). As a result, I managed to loose just shy of 1/2 of our capital. Because of this thread and the honesty of the people on it as well as the more experienced members willingness to help, I have learned ten-fold what I would have on my own and have recouped..almost.. all of my losses in just 2 months.

The generosity of the people who post on this thread has been invaluable to my education into the world of trading. I look forward to each day when I can check into SI and find out "what's happenin'" here. I hope that one day I will be able able to help others as you all have helped me.

Thank you all...MMK

A public "Thanks" to Tony B. for assisting me through PM on getting the "bugs' worked out of my new computer.

BTW- love the humor here too. Always brings a smile to my face and often bursts of hysterical laughing... Keep up the good everyone:))))
