We have just closed three weeks of trading this year - one of those a short week (4 days) due to the holiday. Over these 3 weeks, the group is up 24 percent while the SOX-X is up 12 percent. Out of the group of 41 stocks, 38 are up and 3 are down. Two stocks, AFLX and SFLX, are obviously out of favor and sitting in the last 2 slots. At some point these stocks will start to "rock and roll" - its just a question of how long the wait. FSII is in the "middle" of the pack again, where it resides so often, in the 13th spot. Actually, with a 32 percent increase it deserves some praise. Two of the stocks have over a 50 percent gain in the 14 trading days, while 8 stocks are up over 40 percent. Twenty five of the stocks are up 20 percent or more - a good start for the new year. Below the bottom of the table is a summary of three periods. Two of these, the Oct/Nov time frame and the Dec time frame have been shown before.
