Tech2, I know what you mean. I'm tempted to liquidate just for a break. It really is difficult being long term because you have to restrain yourself from doing anything. I'm not sure it makes sense to be long term, though, except in a few areas. Let me ask you this: When you buy a stock for the long haul, expecting to double in a few years, and it doubles in a week, doesn't it make sense to sell? It's hit your target after all... Short term I think the market could get a big boost by the Senate throwing out the impeachment trial. Even though the issue doesn't seem to have hurt the market, still it would remove uncertainty and this is a good thing. Microsoft figures to have bottomed barring a torpedo from the Judge (which would probably be a big buying opportunity.) That's MHO.
