Finally, thread and lurking nebulae, I propose a new topic for discussion - Movies We Are Ashamed We Like So Much. And here's mine:

The Nightmare Before Christmas: Tim Burton's brilliant animated social commentary disguised as a child's movie, dynamite score by Danny Elfman, and my fave character - a woman who keeps giving pieces of herself to those she loves! Works on so many levels it could be a 40s department store.
