RE:New Thread

I am totally opposed to new thread for any of the major players on this one. You simply dilute the talent pool which is presently rich and diverse. I am suprised that you would suggest the possibility
Shawn, because in the past I think even you have appreciated the
cohesion which Andrew, P Webster, Kevin, and other knowledgeable
investors have provided. Some who follow your Picks get nervous
and need to be reminded of your previous statements or warnings.
Sometimes they just need simple questions answered. You are
apparently very busy and have limited thread time to respond to
such requests. I think your Picks get good exposure here so why
make me bookmark another subject?

I have never purchased one of Shawns Picks, primarily because of
a lack of enough information. I don't like BB stocks and I either
haven't seen enough information posted or was unwilling to go dig
it up on the others. I confess to thinking some very bad things
about Shawn. I am very thankful I was wrong, gave him time to
define himself, and didn't shoot my mouth off beforehand. Some who
did have been chased away.

I am an evolving investor. Thus far I love the education I'm getting
here. I am attracted to the investing style of Andrew and P. Webster
and when Kevins TA matches one of their stocks--well thats when my
sonar starts going off. I am intrigued by your picks though Shawn,
and will continue to follow them I am not spurning your efforts.

Comment on this threads ability to move a stocks price: I believe
this is very possible and agree with Paul Z. and Andrew here. The
reason is, sometimes Marketmakers don't report actual volume.
They have the ability to double, sometimes triple the volume by
trading back and forth among themselses to give the illusion of
higher than normal activity in order to justify price increase
and raise a stocks' volitility. This all depends on the specific
stock and the spread, but it happens on both the Nasdaq and more so
on BB stocks. I can find and post the URL to articles on this if
anyone wants them.

BTW James Colter - How old are you? I'll gladly reciprocate with
like information about myself.

As always buyer beware and let the proof be in the pudding so to
speak or maybe that should be cookie. I nominate Dorthy to be
the thread Mom.
