<<I find it a worse waste of time than watching paint dry,>> LOL! That got me. Although I can testify to a certain satisfaction after painting a room in watching the paint dry and enjoying the newness that a fresh coat of paint brings. <ggg>

Well what can we say about that? Is God trying to save all mankind or did He create a better race when He raised up Israel and the Jews? It certainly sounds like some think He did although I always thought God was equally interested in saving all mankind. God is no respecter of persons, or is He? I think He is equally concerned about us all. It seems that the reality that the children of the faith of Abraham are his descendents and inherit the promises is not universally understood. Even though God destroyed the Temple, struck and disbursed Israel, it seems we are expected to keep the law!! There is certainly a tremendous misunderstanding about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This Messianic Judaism is very mixed up IMO. I don't think they have arrived at a reconstruction of the first century christian church. I think they have put themselves back under the law and rejected Grace. The lesson in the law was that man cannot be good enough no matter how hard he tried to attain the righteousness of God. Therefore God sent His perfect covenant in His Son Jesus Christ to replace the imperfect covenant that could save no one. Oh well, I hope that being 100% doctrinally correct is not a prerequisite to getting into heaven. <gg> If it were heaven would be sparsely populated. Yes, we are forgiven even for being wrong. It's a good thing too! The law LL holds so dear won't help her but the grace that she so under rates will get the job done.
