Steven, the photos are excellent....the people just look too serious. Would it have been better if they showed several skyscrapers around the world and implied that they own and occupy all the buildings like Systemsoft did last year with their 150 or 200 people? At least that would have showed their sense of humor. Nobody really takes Systemsoft seriously do they? I couldn't find the part where PTEC downplays their role in self-diagnostics. The section called "Phoenix and the Future" mentions their leadership position in this area throughout it. In fact, in their conference call it was mentioned that they just completed their "user assistance" BIOS integration last quarter which is built on a standards-based joint effort by industry leaders (I believe Compaq leads that initiative). You know PTEC sure seems to do a lot of work for Compaq and with Compaq. I wonder why they've held out so long on turning over their BIOS to PTEC. Must be a "power" thing. CPQ is another company that probably should loosen up a little bit. I think the "information appliance" market will grow even faster than 75 percent a year for the next few years. In fact, you'll probably look back 10 years from now at the "old desktop PCs" the way we look back at the giant systems that were used several years ago to simply add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. PTEC will lead the "information appliance" revolution.
