One of the original reasons for my initial purchase of ABTX was the great lengths that management went to in keeping investors informed about both company strategy and ongoing events. I agree with you that the SEC rules around the possible buy in have most likely keep management silent (in addition to the requirements of ongoing negotiations perhaps with more than one party). However, my worst fear is that management will now be constrained by the specter of shareholder lawsuits. In addition, the company is already facing litigation regarding the statements made over the deal that fell through at the end of December. I pray that the company can make a full disclosure of recent events without feeding the legal vultures that are circling overhead.
