Hi Henry...asking the same question about draining reserves... 0) How rare is rare... of these ways of doing it, are any of them big deals...and how do mortals know what's what? 1) outright sale of securities from its portfolio 2) a matched sale repurchase agreement 3) a system RP with a foreign institution where the fed's payment to the commercial account of the foreign entity remains with the Fed. and last 4) in the spirit of R Crumb and Mister Natural, what do it all mean?
