Actually 1000 shares or less is flat fee of $30 for priority Richard.

Basically it gets really complicated comparing one to another. I think it all depends on your trading style and the stock u like to dabble in. Heck webstreet in the US gives free trades on nasdaq trades of 1000 shares or less I think. Can't beat that!
