Hi Bob:

Not being too experienced in these matters, i took Grayhairs' references to "squids" as a bit of a poetic license. Now that I composed a couple of responses to your resp., only to lose them to the squids, I say: octopus!!!! <ggg>

<< So, where is the coldest capital? >>

Well, some smart a.. came up with Ulaan Baatar, but their statistics are as questionable as the spelling, so I'll stick with Ottawa.

<<Speaking of falling on ones ass, even the female dog had trouble since when she would squat she her feet would slip.>>

Let me assure you I did not try to "squat" when I fell on my ass. Not on my first outing, anyway. On my most recent outing, semi-tropical drizzle was gently falling on the heads of the dogs (of all and undetermined sexes) as they studiously avoided me.

A slightly exaggerated saying goes that Ottawa is ten months of winter and two months of bad sledding. April showers in January is ridiculous. And it doesn't do our stocks any good either!

How are our Bearskins??

Cheers,

CIO
