Ah, yes, and a very cool cat he was! In fact, the reason I am unconvinced of the arguments of the people who say there was no historical Jesus at all (whatever his real name) is that there are some way out and intense vibes coming from SOMEONE at that time and place, and it would be difficult to figure out the motivation for totally imagining and creating such a radical being. So there is something there that I have not made sense of yet--I am still struggling.
