Gersh, RE: Naked puts/calls Do you write naked puts/calls? Etrade does not allow naked call writing do you know an online broker who does? What are their cash requirements. Your strategy would require a good deal of cash on hand to implement. Etrade has some overly complex formula that basicly means that to write a covered put you must have about 40-50% of the put value on-hand. I don't have any real comments on the merits of the system. Have you actually tried this with real money, or just paper traded? Christopher PS Thanks for your comments on covered puts, they were thought provoking...
