Education!!! Herm & thread- Have recently read a book, LEAPS - Long Term Equity Anticipation Securities, -How to use them for profit and protection-, by Harrison Roth. He is associated with CBOE. Many strategies. The Chapter,35, which I found of real value covers Long-Term LEAPS, Deep In The Money, and writing Conventional Calls Out of the Money on the same underlying equity (repeatedly). No hype, just really GOOD STUFF! For me the information is as QUALITATIVE as McMillan's but a far easier read. The book explains the differences between the various choices of approaches, and value of Conventional CCs and Leaps, clearly and concisely. Some chapters are only 3 pages long - but WOW - powerful! Roth differs with McMillan on repairs - and explains why!

Frankly, after studying for almost two years, purchasing a dozen books, and following this thread religiously (Thanks, Herm!), I became overloaded and confused. (Sometimes, I THOUGHT I understood the processes being presented, but later REALIZED I was lost.

With this book, I GOT IT! Finally, "it has all come together -It has all come together with W.I.N.S" !!!

For what it's worth. Best wishes, Dick
