The above point invalidates what you've been arguing. If you understand game theory, you look at the NET outcome, not the outcome for one person on one "trial". And the net of this "game" over time is positive for the population of market participants. Try summing the expected outcomes over two variables, "x", the participants and "y", time. If you still think it's negative you should put your money in a bank and make 3% a year, but I think most people would rather experience a 12% annual gain over time.
