and for the reason part of the contest. John Kenneth Galbraith states it clearly. I will have to look up the exact quote but the essence is that there will be many reasons proferred for the crash, but in the end the only reason is speculation built on extreme leverage.

and I will ad, speculation on extreme leverage to the point of exhaustion. The exhaustion gap.
