I'm afraid you and I are talking to the deaf when we mention
the companies that have been driven down to the low pennies.
I started a TYS thread because both WSP and ABZ think the TYS
property is so good that they 1) paid of substantial debts for
TYS 2) gave them stock that is worth a good chunk of money and
will be worth more 3) have guaranteed substantial amounts of
money for further exploration work. I'm not sure what else would
need to be done unless we go north, find some diamonds on the
property, then run around yelling "Diamonds, we've got diamonds."
Although, given the present mood in mining/exploration (the
let's all jump down a mineshaft mood) I'm not sure even that
would do the trick. The downside, of course, is the lack of cash
available for these beat up stocks. That, however, is why I've
sat up and taken notice when companies with cash decide to buy
into a property and gives a company like TYS/GGL/AOT etc. a free
ride. It is an all or nothing bet, though. If they don't come
up with some decent results so that these companies can refinance
there'll be rollbacks. Personally, I'm betting on the experience
and financing of the majors involved.
