Aspect Development Reports 72% Revenue Growth and Record Net Income for Fourth Quarter, 1996
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 30, 1997-- Aspect Development announced today that net revenues for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 1996 were $7,425,000, an increase of 72% over revenues of $4,320,000 for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 1995, and an increase of 16% from revenues of $6,423,000 for the third quarter in 1996.
Net income for the fourth quarter of 1996 was $1,437,000 or $0.10 per share, representing an increase of 345% over net income of $323,000 or $0.03 per share for the fourth quarter of 1995 and an increase of 41% from net income of $1,020,000 or $0.07 per share for the third quarter of 1996.
Revenues for the year ended Dec. 31, 1996 were $24,235,000 compared to revenues of $13,693,000 recorded for the year ended Dec. 31, 1995, representing a 77% increase. Operating profit for the 1996 fiscal year was $1,982,000, an increase of 137% over operating profit of $836,000 in the 1995 fiscal year. Net income for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 1996 was $3,009,000 or $0.24 per share, compared with net income of $681,000, or $0.06 per share for the same period in the previous year, representing an increase of 342%.
