All,

My contacts inside Wall Street are of the opinion that the present leg of stock market rally is, to a significant extent, fueled by foreign investment as a result of strong dollar/low inflation etc. The not-so-good news is, historically, the peak of foreign investment is followed by a market top with an interim of 3 to 9 months, plus/minus a few weeks.

Just another angle to view the situation.

Ibexx

PS: The earmarks of foreign investments are: narrowly based rally focussing on household names (including INTC, MSFT) and neglecting small caps.
