I believe that for the most part your second conclusion (b)is correct, except for the items noted in my last post.

Also note where the revenues come in during the quarter (possibly some (a), but they have to analyze the channel sales for potential reserves i.e. stuffing.

Also some credit may go to better materials management, better line management and better production transitioning management (which are all positive in my book).
