Since the last post was a comparison of 1997 high stock prices, this
one shows a comparison of 1995 prices. The same ground rules apply -
the 1995 listing is a comparison of each stocks highest closing price
in 1995, irrespective of the date on which it occurred.

Three of the stocks at the top of the table had no price in 1995 so
they cannot be compared to Friday's closing price. These 3 stocks
are excluded from the column summations.

The spread in percentage performance between the high and the low is
tremendous. ETEC is at the top of the table with a 452 percent gain
while ASEC is at the bottom of the table with a 90 percent loss.
Even after all this time since 1995, approximately 3 1/2 years ago,
only 11 stocks out of the group are above their 1995 highs.

This table reflects the fact, that on the "average", the growth rate
in the semi-equip sector since 1995 has been stagnant at best, or
negative, as reflected by the stock prices.
