<< Robert: It was little, threatened and self-interested minds like yours that made it possible for the Soviet Union and The People's Republic of China to engage in the wholesale slaughter of ... >>

Hey, you left out the Cambodian slaughters under Pol Pot, Germany's slaughters under Hitler, the China/Indochina slaughters by Japan.

After all, if you are going to blame me for mass murders, please be thorough.

And why am I being charged with these heinous atrocities? It's because I think that a man is innocent until proven guilty. President Clinton is INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY!

These brutal slaughters were done by butchers who believed in "guilty unless proven innocent"! And they did not have due process, so proving one's innocence was nearly impossible.

Your using the misery of millions of others to prove your personal political opinion is very sad, both for you and for the memories of the victims.

<< You have still failed to grasp that Bill Clinton has been charged with the commission of what would, in a normal court of law, be a felony (well, two of them, actually) and for that reason, had to be impeached, ... >>

You're damn right that I fail to grasp that you can impeach a democratically elected President just because he has been "charged" with a felony. This represents nasty, partisan, undemocratic power, misused by the Republican majority.

<< The phrase "Senate impeachment" is meaningless gibberish. >>

Bob, your superior intellect overwhelms me (the sound of one hand clapping is heard in the background).

All of the major news organizations are using the term Senate Impeachment. Tune into CNBC or CSPAN and you will see that the Senate trial is part of the impeachment process. There are two parts, the House impeachment and the Senate trial to remove Clinton from office based on the impeachment case.

Use your vastly superior wisdom to call CNBC and CSPAN and the other major networks, and the general public, and order them to stop using the term. <g>

<< Blaming the Republicans for Bill Clinton's situation is ludicrous and dangerous. >>

I blame the Republicans for inappropriate misuse of their majority power and for having contempt for the American People.

<< But that would be okay with you, because you could simply continue your misguided puppet on a string life without the need for any heavy thinking. >>

If my believing that a man is innocent until proved guilty is being a puppet on a string. I think that most of the public, which you Republicans hold in contempt, are also puppets on this same "innocent until proven guilty" string.

You, OTOH, are willing to throw justice out the window and find someone guilty without due process. And then you have the nerve to call ME dangerous! <g>

<< Tyrants always ride in on the backs of misguided fools. >>

This doesn't have to become true, in your case. All you have to do is open up your mind to basic decency and justice. Keep saying to yourself "innocent until proven guilty". Tyrants always ride in on the backs of those that would deny justice to others.

Using insults, like nasty Republicans love to do, will not endear you with the American People.

The Republican Party will find out the hard way when we have the "Trial of the Millennium" ..... The American People vs Republican Party at the polls in 2000"!
