In an attempt to help get this product to market as well as moving a bit faster I have forwarded a comment to the marketing people at Mytec. This type technology is going to go like wildfire.

What we need to see is the people responsible for installing this type of technology using it Yesterday. In my case I have had such a demand for computer security and service that I have started training at CDI College here in Oshawa.

There is no doubt in my mind that security in the future is going to involve many levels of protection. I have started to market this and to date with very good results. We have a product now we need to see it in the field.

The big contracts will come with time. The many little contracts will lead the way down the road.

This message was found on a thread I share with alarm installers all over the world. Right now there are going to be many open windows to this type of technology as many other uses are thought up.

This person wants something without the computer hook up. Maybe a small 12 volt device. Mytec has done it before with the Card Alarm unit let us all hope 1999 turns things around.

Subject: Fingerprint Recognition Device?
Date: Sun, 24 Jan 1999 07:56:35 -0700

I was wondering if anybody makes a fingerprint recognition device that could
trigger a relay for a door or gate that can be used as a stand alone device?
In otherwords, I have found a bunch of companies selling the equipment, but
all are required to be connected to a pc to verify the print. IS there one
that I can upload the print file and then set it up at a remote location
without a pc connected all the time?

Thanks in advance.

Dan
