Goldman Sacks, just lowered profits projects for MU, but kept it's recommended buy and projecting stock price at $90 in 1996. Don't know what their old price projection was.

The Merrill Lynch projection I was talking about was not Tom Kurlack's, it came from their technology fund manager. He came here for a visit and I attended a lunch meeting with him. Kurlack seems to be confused at this point in time. This fund manager believes there is larger growth opportunities than in Semi's going forward and added communications stocks to his holding to take advantage of his projected growth of over 50%. He holds only one semi in his portfolio and that is LSI. My personal strategy is to own emerging technology stocks, which of course he does't invest in, and I use Intel, Microsoft and MU to add some stability to my personally owned stocks. When these stock go sideways, I can write covered calls and make a good profit duing these sideways periods. Looks like these stocks are starting this sideways pattern.
