Here is some helpful info regarding Zeneca's US presence: usa.zeneca.com Here is Zeneca's international home page: zeneca.com Remember now that MUSE is no longer being marketed by Astra but Astra/Zeneca. Note that, "In the United States, Zeneca Inc. is a $3.4 billion bioscience business with approximately 7,500 employees." To this add Astra's US exposure: astra.com We certainly won't be disappointed with the new Astra/Zeneca combination as it relates to their marketing abilities in Europe, South America and Australia/New Zealand. We would also be very pleased if Vivus signs this new and exciting combination as its domestic marketing partner. Word is that Vivus wants Astra/Zeneca for its domestic partner and Astra/Zeneca wants to include MUSE and eventually Alibra in its American product line. We wont be disappointed if we get A/Z to sign as our partner. Don't forget we have been able to maintain about 4,000 weekly IMS scripts domestically with no marketing arm calling on the PCPs for over 6 months now.
