Downsouth, Good luck with Compaq earnings. IMHO it does not look
good even if they beat expectations by a cent or two. This is the
risk. Still considering buying puts on it if run up to earnings.
(just a little bit of options for fun!!)

IBM is more of a value investor's portfolio; someone who cares
about PE. (I guess that is why I don't buy it). If CPQ also falters,
my guess would be a lot of this money will come
into INTEL (another "value" play---well at least it comes
close to "value").
For those who will drop this value thing, I can see purchases of
MSFT, DELL, CSCO.
