MG, RE: Etrade option writing

>E*TRADE will allow naked CALL writing if you qualify

As far as I know ETrade does not allow anyone to write naked calls. Their highest level of options trading allows for naked put writing and some other index options stuff. I checked into this 6+ months ago.

Etrade's cash requirements for naked put writing is on there web site. It is a formula based on "buying power" which is around 40-50% of capital required to exercise. I try to avoid the 'buying power' game. I've not had good experience's with margin calls. They always happen at the worst time. <g>

Kool! Any particular strategy that have taken a liking too?

Thanks for the links, I'll check them out.
