Apple has committed to 1998. Jan for 1st retail release, July for version that includes native Mac OS. This is not long.

OK- I agree things have been poor, but why don't new products and approaches get credit for what they can do, rather than cause more pessimism. THIS is the root problem for Apple, both in media and stock price.
