We either have an incredible opportunity on our hands here or a real mickey mouse company that makes outlandish statements that have no basis in fact.
I agree that it is almost impossible that any company manages its books so conservatively that it would understate its assets(in this case timberland)by somewhere between 70% and 90%. I also would like clarification on the release from Friday morning. The realtor stated that it "has received numerous inquiries from various international companies interested in purchasing these properties." This is a watershed event for me as a new owner of WOOD shares. If this story looks like it has holes in it by Monday afternoon, I will liquidate my position asap. If it holds up, ladies and gentleman, this is no .20 stock and nor even $1.50 stock. You just don't come up with a cool $96million in new capital with no stock dilution and no change in your business plan without driving a penny stock much higher than this. TOPFUEL, I am just as skeptical as you are for the moment. Answers hopefully will shed light tomorrow. The release is pretty straightforward about the $96 million, however, and can't be glossed over by saying that "book value doesn't drive stocks." Knowledgeable insiders would be buying up this stock if this story is accurate. IMO. Should I be happy or sad????????????
