JBOH..that is what I did with telescan (TSCN) when it was 7. I mentioned over and over that I like to buy companies where I like the product or use the service myself. I liked and still like MACR, ADBE,EFII, and now am watching MCRE.

I liked DELL before it was the darling of the street, just because I like idea 8 years ago of buying a computer over mail order that was hi-quality and had next day service if something went wrong. Simple and by the looks of DELL 8 years later it kind of caught on.. then I like GTW for the same reason.

I liked HWP 6 years ago because the laserjet series II was then the benchmark amont all printers, so I bought that, I liked the idea of buying it via mail order (PC Connection) and the company has been around at least 10 years and probably longer while other mail order companies just came and went. Then I bought that company's stock when it was about 6.. It might be well off it's highs of 40'ish but did have a 600% gain at one time in just 52 weeks..

I did not make a fortune on TSCN or PCCC but the TSCN is now 16 3/8 buying only 'a few thousand' but if you believe in the company and you like it chances are others will like it as well and that simple tenet works for stocks.

I liked Adelphia and noted although as yet unprofitable the stock keeps surging to new 52 week highs. They have somewhat of a monopoly in my area and now have everything from cable modems, digital cable t.v to its own long distance service. And now I like companies like GNSSF for their technology as well. I do like JBOH and I expect others do as well so I think the stock will go up.
