Oh, dear. I'm getting sucked in! Even devout Roman Catholics aren't espousing the belief that non-Christians have no access to God! Such a notion is dotty! Rather than simply citing a phrase here and there from translations from Aramaic, people should go read and understand the entire New Testament, whose soul is not exclusionary. Steve, don't you wish we had the kind of rigorous training for Christians that educated Jewish boys have in Talmudic study? The kind of study that keeps one from twisting the words around to use any which way because it forces a study of the commentaries as well?
