When Yahoo drops to $10 ( before the split), then it can be considered a good buy for Microsoft. Yahoo's inflated price really hurt the company. Yahoo can not compete alone in the market, and eventually it will die out. On the other hand, its inflated price prevent it to be bought out or merged with other companies.
