Not long ago, I said the stock will hit $165 by earning , and it did. We now just fill the gap, and it has been done.

My assumption is based on a strong growth ( from Intel's result) from Sep to Dec of 1998, followed with a split announcement, and the release of Office 2000, and the fact told that Microsoft 's growth is 73% comparing to the same quarter of last year,
and this will push the stock further up to the level of $170 to $175. I do not believe
Microsoft will not announce a split with its stock price at that level, so my assumption
is Microsoft most likely will announce the split in the early half of Feb, and that alone will push another 10 to 15% up before the stock really get split, and which is $100
after split adjustment by the end of Feb. After that, we are to have Office 2000 release, and we will continue see strong growth for the rest of 1999, and at the end of 1999, Office 2000 will start to generate huge revenue for Microsoft, and with Win2000 announced, which will carry Microsoft further well into the 2000s. Let see what will happen in the next one to two months.
By the way, I heard that Microsoft will release something new related to CE in FEB.
Can someone confirm this on the thread????
